Five Greene County women have been awarded Women-in-Transition scholarships by the Beavercreek Women’s League. These awards are given annually to women undergoing a transition in their lives and wishing to further their education. This year’s winners are Beavercreek resident Sheila Miller who is attending Clark State Community College studying nursing; Christine Bosler and Carrier Wentworth, both from Beavercreek attending Wright State University. Ms. Bosler is in the nursing program, and Ms. Wentworth is in pre-pharmacy. Xenia resident Jill Bloomer will be studying psychology at Central State University. Tracy Stewart of Yellow Springs is pursuing her Doctorate of Psychology degree at Wright State University.
